“I am a ‘contemporary abstract’ painter. Living in Colorado, surrounded by Aspens, one cannot help but be intrigued by them.  As an abstract painter, really an expressionist, my interpretation of the beautiful Colorado landscape ranges from representational abstract, to sometimes an almost whimsical style, featuring Aspens of all sizes, in all seasons.  My style is unique, as I use no sketches or brushes..but a free flowing application of paint, with many layers.  I paint on canvas as well as watercolor paper.” – Artist Kimberly Conrad
